Mexico claimed a narrow 1–0 win over Australia in an international friendly as preparations for the 2026 World Cup continue.



With 78,479 people in attendance, the Rose Bowl Stadium saw thousands pack the stands in Pasadena, California.


Mexico finished with more attacking volume, recording 13 shots to Australia’s 7, while both teams registered 4 saves. Mexico also led in corners, 5 to 3, and had slightly more fouls committed, 10 to 9, as well as offsides, 2 to 1.
