We focus on providing opportunities for high-school and college aged individuals (or anyone looking to break into a creative field) to develop their skills to enter into the workforce while working remotely & with the ability to bring their ideas to life.

Our current positions, though unpaid, provides opportunities to grow and develop your portfolio on a professional level and gain the skills needed to thrive professionally in a creative environment with no prior work experience, including receiving college credit for students.

Outreach & Business Development Internship

Position Overview

We are looking for confident, driven, and outgoing Outreach Interns to join our creative agency team this summer. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the art of pitching, outreach, and business development in the media, PR, and digital marketing world. You'll play a key role in growing the agency's network while learning real-world skills while contributing directly to our internal operations and client-facing efforts.

Internship Details

Type: Unpaid, for college/internship credit only
Schedule: 15 hours per week, flexible; no set hours except for team meetings.
Location: Remote (We are based in the Dallas-Ft Worth Area with opportunities to work in person)
Duration: Rolling

Responsibilities

Assist in researching, identifying, and pitching potential clients
Learn how to pitch to brands, craft outreach messages, and generate leads
Support in business administration tasks like project pitch decks, organization, outreach
Help build relationships with PR reps, influencers, and media contacts
Assist in uploading and organizing digital content identified by a team lead for clients on our website or content hubs
Be a part of internal strategy meetings and learn how creative agencies operate
Help track outreach progress, responses, and lead engagement in shared tools (CRM tools)

Qualifications

Current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, Sales, or a related field (must be eligible or need for internship or college credit)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with outreach, cold messaging, and building rapport
Interested in brand marketing, PR, digital media, and client relations
Experience with Google Workspace, Canva/Keynote, Slack, or Notion is a plus
Preferred: Experience with social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, google sheets, & portfolio of previous social media work
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Journalist: Entertainment (music/film), Fashion/Beauty, Society/Culture, & Sports

Position Overview

We are seeking integral, culturally aware, and resilient journalists to contribute to our fast-growing digital and print publication. We are building a bold, Gen Z–led voice in media. We’re looking for writers who want to shape the stories that matter across entertainment, lifestyle, culture, and sports. This is your chance to publish real work, interview talent, and create sharp, relevant narratives that reach a growing digital audience and print readership in entertainment (music/film), fashion/beauty, society/culture, or sports.

Internship Details

Type: Unpaid, for college/internship credit only or for experience and publication
Schedule: At your own pace; no set hours except for team meetings. Weekend work permitted if the journalist prefers (meaning if you choose to write about breaking news, you may write beyond the minimum writing requirements based on your preference). Journalists are required to write at LEAST 1 article per month.
Location: Remote (We are based in the Dallas-Ft Worth Area with opportunities to work in person)

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

Write at least 1 article per month - you may write more if you are able to
Conduct interviews, research, and fact-checking as needed
Must follow AP Style writing, with strong grammar and editorial discipline
Be able to write on a deadline or regarding popular/breaking topics with tight turn-around periods
Attend editorial meetings to discuss topics and assignments
Collaborate with editors to revise and strengthen your drafts
Uphold HAZZE MEDIA’s tone, standards, and creative originality
Help build the cultural authority of a Gen Z–driven media brand

Qualifications

Current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing Rhetoric, Communications, PR, English, or a related field (must be eligible or need for internship or college credit) OR interested in developing professional skills
Excellent writing skills and editorial judgment
Must be able to write in AP Style
Provide at least 1–3 published writing samples or a portfolio (required)
Ability to meet deadlines and accept editorial feedback
Confidence in sourcing, interviewing, and storytelling
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Video Editor

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our growing multimedia team. This role is ideal for a digital-savvy editor who understands how to craft dynamic, engaging video content for both YouTube and social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Shorts—with a sharp sense of branding, storytelling, and style. The intern will gain real-world experience working on projects for HAZZE MEDIA’s editorial channels as well as select client assignments, helping shape the video identity of a Gen Z-led creative agency.

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

Edit raw video files into polished, high-quality content for YouTube, Reels, TikTok, and other platforms
Convert long-form videos into short-form clips optimized for engagement
Add text, effects, animations, and graphics that align with brand tone and platform requirements
Collaborate with the creative team to maintain the HAZZE MEDIA aesthetic across all video content
Color correct and grade footage to professional quality standards
Organize project files and manage timely delivery of edits
Assist with building templates and visual styles for ongoing video series
Occasionally edit videos for clients, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign goals

Qualifications

Experience with editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Animation or motion graphics experience highly preferred (Adobe After Effects or similar)
Strong understanding of editing for different platforms: YouTube vs. Reels/Shorts
Ability to color grade footage and enhance audio when needed
Aesthetic alignment with Gen Z, pop culture, and editorial visual trends
Self-starter with an eye for storytelling and visual rhythm
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Writing Editor | Editorial Team

Position Overview
We are looking for editors who are interested in helping our team develop and edit writing outlines by journalists. As an editor, your job will be to provide feedback on drafts, article outlines, submission pitches, and help develop a narrative tone for our journalists.

Schedule: Flexible based on your schedule; no set hours except for team meetings. Weekend work will be based on meeting deadlines and breaking news articles.
Location: Hybrid (We are based in the Dallas-Ft Worth Area but all work is remote)

Eligibility: Applicants must be able to earn academic credit or seeking professional experience

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

Review drafts with a reader’s perspective, making sure the piece has a clear purpose, audience, and message
Improve clarity and flow by reorganizing sections, rewriting awkward sentences, and tightening wordy passages
Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage errors, maintaining consistency within AP style guide
Fact‑check names, dates, data, and links to ensure accuracy and avoid legal or credibility issues
Give feedback to writers (comments, edit letters, meetings) and guide revisions over one or more rounds
Types of editing: developmental, line/copy, proofreading for articles

Qualifications

Must be eligible for academic credit, seeking hands-on professional experience, OR early-professional pursuing Rhetoric, Communications, PR, English, or a related field (must be eligible or need for internship or college credit)
Strong understanding of AP style writing
