Alec Benjamin brought an intimate, storytelling vibe to Marathon Music Works in Nashville during his 12 Notes Tour, and the crowd was captivated from start to finish. The night kicked off with opener Matt Hansen, whose smooth vocals and heartfelt performance perfectly set the tone for what was to come. Hansen’s raw emotion and soulful sound connected with the audience warming up the room for Alec Benjamin’s much-anticipated set.

As the lights dimmed, the stage came to life with an innovative design that stood out from Benjamin’s past tours—this time featuring a bedroom and desk setup. It was his first tour with a set design, which made the experience feel even more personal. The cozy atmosphere brought fans right into Alec's world.

One of the most unique aspects of the performance was his incorporation of "writing notes during the show", an interactive gesture in line with the tour’s theme, the 12 Notes Tour. Between songs, Benjamin would jot down notes on the desk and then share with the audience. It added a sense of immediacy and intimacy to the performance, making fans feel more connected to his art.

The setlist spanned his well-known hits and newer releases, each song received with a chorus of voices singing along in unison. His storytelling between songs added further context, giving fans a glimpse into the emotions and experiences behind his lyrics.

Overall, the 12 Notes Tour was a memorable experience. With the addition of a set design, Benjamin elevated the live experience, giving fans not only a sonic journey but a visual one as well.
