On a breezy August 20th evening, Ascend Amphitheater buzzed with anticipation as fans gathered for a night of indie pop and rock magic. The dream pairing: BENEE, the New Zealand sensation with her quirky pop sensibilities, opening for Wallows. As the sun dipped below the Nashville skyline, the positive energy in the air was evident.

BENEE took the stage first, immediately capturing the crowd’s attention with her magnetic presence. Her set was filled with infectious beats and playful lyrics, making it impossible not to dance along. Highlights included the bouncy “Supalonely” and the introspective “Glitter,” which showcased her vocal range and unique style.
