Cassie Chantel stood on the court with a basketball in hand, feeling the familiar bounce echo. It was years after her ACL tear had shattered her dreams of playing college basketball, but the game called her back. This time it wasn’t as a player, but as a coach, storyteller, and voice for women’s basketball. With a microphone in one hand and channeling her past experiences, Chantel turned setbacks into symphonies.
